My favorite object

My favorite object in the entire world is my lion pencil case. It`s a pencil shaped like a lion, and it has mini soft hairs, wich are relaxing to touch. I got it this year, in my 18th birthday, wich was in January 7th by my parents in law at that time.
I remember it meant  a lot to me, because I`m not used to receive any presents, even less in my birthday.

I use it everyday in the university to store my pencil collection, wich I also love.

I like it because it`s a lion, and it`s soft and it`s a lion.

Life would be less exciting and way more boring if my lion pencil case wasn`t there, so I hope it never leaves me.

My opinion

What is your opinion about soap operas on Chilean TV?
I think that soap are pretty poorly made, because of their low budget and cheap drama. Having the same barely professional actors in every single soap opera makes it even more unpleasant to look at. So, why are they so populat then? Because it takes just a little bit of fiction to take people out of reality.

What is your opinion  about the Chilean politicians?
In my opinion, Chilean politicians are mostly lazy liars who seek power all costs. Of course there are exceptions, but almost every politician is lazy and rich, and with 0 interest in the common  wealth. The other percentage of politicians, wich are honest, are unheard by the population and their fellow politician colleagues.

What is your opinion about violence on television?
Violence in television is just a way to keep people worried and fearful, but not in a bad way neccesarily. The fear on concern can make people more worried about the common wealth. In the other hand, it can also make people terrified of going out or do somethimg out the ordinary.

What is your opinion about recycling?
I think of recycling as a very healthy thing to do, not only yo us as human beings, but also to the planet earth. Recycling allows us to use less resources in order to pollute less the earth. This is very helpful to prevent global warming and health issues, so, yep, I think recycling is a very nice thing to do.

What is your opinion about fortune telling?
Fortune telling is something very personal to me, particularly because of what it means to my mother. First thing first, I don't believe in fortune felling or in any of those psychic thing, but I find them very hopeful sometimes. I think of fortune telling more of an advice than a prediction.

My autobiography

Hi, my name is Maryann Monsálvez, but my friends call me Marie. I was born in Ñuñoa, but I currently live in Puente Alto. I am 18 years old and also I’m a Capricorn. I live with my mother Mary and my dog Susy. Also, I have a boyfriend named Mauro.

I care a lot about animals, that’s why I’m studying for veterinary. I went to two schools during my childhood and adolescence: the first one was Colegio Cardenal Raúl Silva Enriquez, and the second one, in which I graduated is Liceo Bicentenario San Pedro.

When I have a house, i would like to have a farm in my backyard, with horses and baby goats. I also love lions. In fact, they are my favourite kind of animal and i would really like to have one, but I can’t. :c

I do also like to listen to music, and my favourite singers are Bruno Mars and Ellie Goulding. Fun fact: I was not able to buy any tickets for Bruno Mars concert this year. ;c
